Welcome to REALiTY SCaLED TrainGIFs. This is a relatively new hobby bringing the real railroad into the virtual world by means of train gifs. These train gifs are scale drawings of real life prototypes. Much like the model railroad community relies on detailed locomotives, rolling stock, etc, so do train gifs. Using these gifs in scenes creates a facination and railfanning right from the comforts of your computer, giving you access to many different places, different roadnames, and all new action. As with any new hobby, viewer input and comments make it more enjoyable and more popular. As an artist I try to get my gifs as close to prototype as possible. If for any reason you feel I haven't done a gif right, or there's something wrong with it, let me know via e-mail and if possible include a photo, and I'll be sure to correct it quickly. Soon to come will be scenes from the BC Rail, Ontario Northland, and a special steam scene. Feel free to comment on anything you wish and come back again as there is always something new added each day. There's also a HOW TO section if you would like to learn more about creating scenes of your own. |
The CP Rail, a majestic and noble railroad spanning Canada, it's red locomotives enhancing the beauty in which these trains travel. You may notice that I have included many scenes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. This is in my opinion the ultimate railfanning spot in all of Canada. Others might disagree, but as a place I grew up in, BC was always known for it's beautiful scenery. Artists in these scenes include myself, Chris Denbow, Cullen McCormick and Bryn Zellner. Backdrops are from a variety of different resources on the internet. |
Canadian National, a name recognized throughout the world as Canada. These scenes depict the CN in action. Unfortunatly to this point, scene 11 and scene 12 are not done, as gifs needed for these scenes have yet to be done. I will get to these as quickly as I can to get them completed. Artists in these scenes include myself, Chris Denbow, Cullen McCormick and Bryn Zellner. Backdrops are from a variety of different resources on the internet. |
